Looking for the perfect Mother’s Day gift for the woman who has everything?

Consider donating to Habitat for Humanity in her honor. The following donation amounts provide the following in demand supplies for the home builders: $10 – box of nails, $35 – roof shingles, $50 – low flow toilet, $75 – window, $100 – kitchen sink, $150 – front door, $500 – siding, $1,000 – wallboard and $2,000 for flooring.

Dirty WorkSince 1985, the Austin chapter of Habitat for Humanity has built more than 335 homes for low-income Austin residents and provided much needed repairs for an additional 100 homes. Currently, the chapter builds between 20 and 25 homes per year with hopes to expand to 40 homes per year soon, but to do that they’ll need our help!

In addition to the need for cash donations, the Austin chapter of Habitat for Humanity is always looking for dedicated volunteers to help build and repair homes. The home building team works in shifts from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday while the home repair team works on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Dirty Work is proud to announce our support of Habitat for Humanity and we hope you’ll join us in supporting this great cause!
