Here are 4 great de-cluttering projects to tackle this rainy weekend, ranked from the least time intensive to the most time intensive.

Clean Out Your Junk Drawer

If you only have an hour or two of free time, consider cleaning out your junk drawer. You can use the trash you have lying around the house to create mini-storage systems for the drawer. Check out our blog post “How to Use Trash to Organize Your Junk Drawer,” for step by step instructions.

Clean Out Your Closet

If you have half a day, consider cleaning out your closet. Donate anything you no longer need to a charity. Then, spend the next couple of hours organizing your closet. Of course, you can use some common “trash” you have lying around your home to organize your closet instead of buying expensive storage systems! Clean Out Your Garage

Clean Out Your Attic

Oh, the attic – where all the junk of yesteryears goes. If you have the entire weekend, you could tackle cleaning out your attic. Get rid of anything that you haven’t used in the last year and anything that doesn’t have sentimental value.
