Austin Dirty WorkSince 1985, Keep Austin Beautiful has been providing resources and education to encourage Austin residents to help take care of our city. They accomplish their mission of getting “every community to be vibrant, engaged and environmentally responsible” through cleanup and litter prevention, beautification and restoration, waste reduction and resource conservation and education and outreach programs.

One of the owners of Dirty Work, Kyle Jones, was recently elected to the board of Keep Austin Beautiful and we look forward to becoming more involved with Keep Austin Beautiful as the year progresses.

Recently, we were able to assist Keep Austin Beautiful with one of their three-year projects – to beautify the city by creating landscaping on street medians.

On Friday, a couple of our team members went out and scrapped the ground, so the Keep Austin Beautiful volunteers could plant there on Saturday.

We’re proud to be some of the more than 13,700 volunteers that have contributed more than 28,530 to beautifying our city and we’d like to encourage all Austin residents to get involved too!

If you’re looking for a way to get involved with Keep Austin Beautiful, visit their website and sign up to help clean up trash on one of their clean sweeps! They’re held monthly!
